Knife-Wielding Gang Mow Down Man in Shocking Manchester Robbery

Greater Manchester Police are hunting a gang after a brutal robbery on Woodside Avenue, Burnage, on Monday, November 13, around 6pm.

Man Threatened, Run Over While Trying to Stop Escape

A 48-year-old man was confronted by a group of young males brandishing a knife. They stole his silver Toyota Corolla, then shockingly drove over him as he tried to block their getaway.

The victim suffered severe injuries and has undergone emergency surgery. He remains in hospital receiving treatment, with doctors warning of lasting effects.

Police Launch Major Hunt as Car Abandoned Nearby

Detective Inspector Kelly of South Manchester CID called the attack “senseless and random,” condemning the horrific violence. “Our team is following several leads to catch these offenders,” she said.

Offenders abandoned the victim’s car on Shawbrook Road, and police are especially eager to trace their escape route.
