Safe Forced Open and Medication Nabbed

Thieves smashed their way inside between 1:00 AM and 1:45 AM. They ripped a wall-mounted safe from the premises and fled with several powerful drugs. The stolen stash includes:

  • A 50ml bottle of Somulose, used for euthanasia in cats and horses
  • Four 10ml bottles of Ketamine
  • One 5ml bottle of Methadone
  • Three or four 10ml bottles of Buprenorphine
  • A bottle of Sublingual Buprenorphine

Police Issue Warning and Plea for Information

A Northumbria Police spokesperson warned, “Unless you have been properly prescribed medication via your doctor or your pharmacy, you can never be sure what substances contain and what impact they could have on you.” They stress the public should be cautious if offered these drugs.

Authorities urge anyone who finds suspicious medication not to leave it lying around. Instead, take it to the nearest police station for safe disposal.

Call for Public Help

Police have launched a full investigation and want anyone with info about the burglary or the missing drugs to get in touch immediately. If you know anything, contact Northumbria Police without delay.
