Serious Crash on A249 Near Stockbury Roundabout Leaves Two Seriously Hurt
Nighttime Collision Shakes Kent
Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty smash on the A249 near the Stockbury roundabout badly injured two people.
The crash happened at 10:05pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, when a silver Land Rover Discovery collided with a black BMW 1 Series near the Chalky Lane junction.
Emergency Teams Rush to Scene
Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to help at the scene.
- A man in his 30s, a passenger in the BMW, was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
- A woman in her 30s, a passenger in the Land Rover, was seriously hurt and taken to a local hospital.
- Both remain in stable condition under medical care.
- One driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
Police Launch Investigation, Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the probe into the crash. They’re urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to get in touch immediately.
