Woman Mugged Near Train Station in Broad Daylight
Just before 9pm on Monday 3 January, a woman was walking along Commercial Road towards the train station when two men ambushed her near the Morris Road junction. After a brief struggle, they snatched her bag containing a laptop, purse, various ID cards, a bank card, and about £300 in cash.
Victim Unharmed, Police Launch Hunt
Thankfully, the woman escaped without injury. Police have been chasing multiple leads and now need the public’s help to identify a suspect seen in the area that night.

The man they want to speak to is white, around 20-25 years old, slim, and roughly 6ft 2in tall. “The image isn’t the best quality, but it’s all we have right now,” police said.
