Tragic Death on M23 Shuts Motorway for Hours
Emergency crews rushed to the M23 between junctions 8 and 9 shortly after 1am following reports of a woman on the carriageway.
Sadly, the pedestrian died at the scene. Police have informed her family, who are now receiving support.
