Tragic Crash Claims Life of 18-Year-Old on A10
A fatal collision has rocked the early hours of the morning on the A10 near the junctions for Dinant Link Road and the A414 towards Harlow. At around 3.15am, a silver Volkswagen Golf and a white DAF HGV crashed, leaving a young man dead at the scene.
Victim Identified as Young Man, Lorry Driver Unharmed
Sergeant Tom Daly from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “The VW Golf driver, an 18-year-old man, sadly passed away at the scene. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. The lorry driver was uninjured.”
Urgent Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Police are desperate to piece together how the crash happened. Sgt Daly added, “We want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or anything leading up to it. If you have dashcam footage, please check it immediately and send through anything relevant.”
