Tragic Early Morning Crash on A10 Claims Young Man’s Life
A deadly collision at around 3.15am on the A10 near Dinant Link Road has left an 18-year-old Volkswagen Golf driver dead. The crash involved a silver VW Golf and a white DAF HGV lorry heading towards Harlow.
Victim Dies at Scene, Lorry Driver Unhurt
Sergeant Tom Daly of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit confirmed the young man died instantly. “His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers,” he said. The lorry driver escaped without injury.
Police Urge Witnesses & Dashcam Owners to Come Forward
Officers are investigating the cause of the smash. Sergeant Daly pleaded: “If you were in the area and saw the collision or anything leading up to it, please get in touch. Dashcam footage is especially vital — please check your cameras urgently and share anything useful.”
