Teen Attacked in Late-Night Horror Outside Yorkshire Building Society

At just after 2am, a 16-year-old boy was set upon by a stranger on the corner of Union Street and Cross Street, right outside the Yorkshire Building Society.

The victim suffered jaw injuries in the brutal assault and was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.

Police Hunt Man Spotted Nearby

Officers are keen to speak with a man seen in the area around the time of the attack. He is described as:

  • White
  • About 6 feet tall
  • Wearing a white t-shirt and dark bottoms

“We know this is a limited description,” police said, “but it’s all we have right now.”
