First Image Released of Dad Stabbed to Death Outside Kent Home
Shocking new details have emerged after a father of two was fatally stabbed on his doorstep in Maidstone, Kent. The victim, named locally as Jamie Simmons, was attacked by two men at his home on Monday evening.
Brutal Attack on Doorstep
Jamie was at home when two men showed up and launched a vicious stabbing attack. He was stabbed multiple times and tragically died at the scene despite emergency services rushing to help.
Murder Investigation Underway
A crime scene remains active outside Jamie’s property on Cambridge Crescent. Kent and Essex Major Crime have launched a murder investigation. Two men, known to the victim, have been arrested and are currently in custody.
Friends Pay Heartfelt Tributes
Friends describe Jamie as a loving father and a “nice fella.” Danny Price said, “RIP Jamie. Really sad. God bless.” Meanwhile, Amy Stubberfield expressed her shock: “I can’t believe this! So sorry.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police confirmed they were called to the incident at around 9:15pm on Monday, 4 May 2020. Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended but Jamie was pronounced dead at the scene.
