Blaze Breaks Out in Dartford Hedgerow – Arson Suspected
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to tackle a fire in a hedgerow off Shirehall Road, Hawley, Dartford. The blaze quickly spread to an adjacent cornfield, sparking serious concern.
Five Fire Engines Battle the Flames
Five fire engines and a fogging unit were deployed to the scene. Crews used powerful hose reel jets to douse the flames and stop the fire from spreading further. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Police Investigate Possible Arson
Kent Police have launched an investigation amid suspicions the fire was started deliberately. Deliberate fires not only threaten lives but also pull valuable fire crews away from other emergencies.
