Dangerous Murderer Escapes from Hollesley Bay Prison!

Adrian Patchett on the Run

Police are hunting Adrian Patchett, 42, who has escaped from Hollesley Bay. Patchett was serving a life sentence after stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death in 2007. Back then, just 29, he was handed a 14-year jail term for the brutal murder of Shirley Batt.

Failed to Return from Temporary Release

Patchett was given temporary licence to Ipswich but vanished after missing his curfew shortly after 5:35 a.m. on Sunday, August 7th. Authorities issued an urgent alert when he failed to check back in.

  • White male, around 5ft 10ins tall
  • Medium build
  • Blue eyes, bald head
  • Full beard
  • Tattoo reading ‘Mother’ on left arm

Still at Large – Police Need Your Help

Officers are actively searching for Patchett. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Suffolk Police immediately. Quote reference CAD 75 of 7 August when calling.
