Masked Man Caught Coughing at Passengers on Merseyside Train

Chaos erupted on a Merseyside train to Liverpool Lime Street when a man refused to wear a mask and started coughing at fellow passengers. Police were forced to drag him off the train after he claimed a medical exemption.

Defiant Passenger Refuses to Comply

In footage from the incident, the man can be heard shouting: “I do not have to wear a mask, end of, and you do not have to challenge me.” Despite repeated requests, he refused to put on a mask or exit the train.

British Transport Police Step In

The British Transport Police (BTP) were called after reports that the man was coughing aggressively at two passengers. They charged him with threatening behaviour and assaulting a police officer following the disturbance on Wednesday.

Charges Filed After Tense Incident

BTP confirmed the man now faces serious allegations stemming from his refusal to comply with mask rules and the subsequent confrontations onboard.
