Emergency crews scrambled to a horror crash outside Green Farm Toby’s Carvery in Hilsea just after 5pm tonight.
Woman Trapped After Collision With Bus
Firefighters from Southsea and Cosham rushed to the scene after reports that a woman was trapped under a bus.
Paramedics quickly stabilised the 59-year-old woman, who suffered serious leg and head injuries after smashing into the bus windscreen. She was then airlifted by Hampshire and Air Ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Road Shutdown and Serious Investigation Underway
Police have slammed a hard road closure on the area, shutting the road both ways as accident investigators comb the scene. Locals and drivers have been urged to find alternative routes immediately.
