Teen Stabbed to Death at Wild Leeds Party

At 2.48am this morning, police were called to a disturbance at a house party on Salisbury Grove, Armley. Reports said a large crowd had gathered when chaos erupted.

Witnesses Describe Horror as 17-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed

Emergency services soon received a distress call about a male being stabbed inside the property. Officers arrived on scene, broke up the crowd, and found the victim — a 17-year-old lad from Leeds — seriously injured.

He was rushed to hospital but tragically died shortly after.

West Yorkshire Police Launch Murder Probe

Detectives from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team have declared the death a murder investigation. A forensic scene remains in place at Salisbury Grove as specialists comb the area for clues.

“The loss of a young life in such sudden and violent circumstances is an absolute tragedy,” said Detective Chief Inspector Alan Weekes.

“We are doing everything to find those responsible and are supporting the family at this incredibly difficult time.”

“We want to speak to anyone who was at the party or nearby, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that could help.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Information

  • Anyone who saw the attack or was at the party is urged to come forward.
  • Residents with any footage from the area around the time should contact police.
  • Local officers are increasing patrols to keep the community reassured.
