Investigation Underway, Community in Shock

“We are dealing with one of the most horrendous crimes – the death of two young children and their mother,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Sinski. “This is a deeply upsetting tragedy, and I can only imagine the family’s pain. They include the woman’s husband, who was not in the UK at the time.

“Both he and other family members are being supported by specially trained officers. We ask the media to respect their privacy during this difficult time.

“A large team of detectives and specialists is working around the clock. This is now being treated as a triple homicide.”

“We thank the local community for their patience and urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward,” DCI Sinski added.
