A minor accident sparked a major row at Asda on Strelley Road, Broxtowe. A child accidentally walked into a man’s pushchair, setting him off into a tirade of abuse aimed at the youngster.

The child’s father soon stepped up, confronting the irate man. An argument quickly broke out between the two adults.

Moments later, the child’s mother spotted the man outside the store and confronted him about his earlier behaviour. Words turned ugly once again, and the man shockingly spat in her face before hurling a glass bottle at a wall.

Police Hunt Man Behind Unprovoked Attack

Police were called, but the suspect fled the scene. Sergeant Declan Bourne of Nottinghamshire Police slammed the vile behaviour.

“This was a very distressing incident and such vile behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities. We are keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as we believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries,” said Sgt Bourne.
