Police in Banbridge stopped a blue Ford Focus zooming too fast on Drumsallagh Road on Saturday, 31 December. What followed was a dramatic chase and a big drug bust.
Driver and Passenger Bolt After Police Stop
Inspector Campbell revealed the officers pulled over the car just after 4.15pm. They chatted briefly with the driver and passenger before the pair made a swift getaway on foot.
£25,000 Worth of Class A Drugs Seized
Following a search of the area, police recovered over £25,000 of suspected Class A drugs – now safely off the streets. The hunt for the two men is ongoing.
