Hit-and-Run Horror in Wolverhampton: Woman Injured
West Midlands Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a violent crash left a woman injured in Wolverhampton last night.
Red Seat Ibiza Ploughs Into Car and Pedestrian
At about 8.40pm on 20 December, a red Seat Ibiza smashed into another vehicle on Upper Villiers Street. The car then mounted the pavement and struck a woman in her 50s before the driver bolted on foot.
The suspect was last seen sprinting along Upper Villiers Street, vanishing into the night.
Victim Stable but Hospitalised
The injured woman is now in a stable condition in hospital. Police say she is receiving treatment and recovering.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers continue their search for the hit-and-run culprit. They are calling on anyone who was near Upper Villiers Street or captured the incident on dash-cam to get in touch.
