Police Hunt Teen Linked to Brutal Oxford Bike Attack

Thames Valley Police are urgently searching for 16-year-old Francis Connors, who could hold vital clues to a savage assault in Oxford’s busy Cornmarket Street.

Delivery Rider’s Hip Shattered in Violent Street Attack

The shocking attack took place at around 5:30pm on Monday, 17 March 2025. A delivery worker was yanked off his bike and slammed hard onto the pavement, breaking his hip in the process.

A police spokesperson said, “We released CCTV footage earlier this year and have since identified the suspect as Francis Connors. However, he remains at large. We believe he has crucial information that could crack this case.”

Police Plead for Public Help in Tracing Teen Suspect

PC Edward Lee, leading the investigation, revealed, “We’re doing everything to find Francis, who may also have ties to Weston Turville in Buckinghamshire. The victim’s injury means he can’t work, which is putting serious financial pressure on his family.”

Lee added, “If anyone knows where Francis is, please get in touch immediately. Francis, we urge you to come forward to your nearest police station.”
