At 5.15pm on Sunday, 20 November, a 33-year-old parcel delivery driver was forced to hand over parcels after a chilling hijack in Swinton.
Dark Transit Van Stalks Driver in Golden Smithies Lane Layby
The man had pulled into a layby on Golden Smithies Lane in his black Volkswagen Golf for a break. Suddenly, a dark-coloured Transit van, registration starting with ‘K’, pulled up behind him.
Three white men jumped out, dressed head to toe in dark clothes with faces covered. They threatened the driver before stealing several parcels from his vehicle.
