Newborn Lambs Shot Dead in Shocking Kingsclere Attack

Police are hunting for a heartless culprit after three day-old lambs were found shot dead on a farm in Kingsclere, near Basingstoke. The brutal killing took place between midnight and 3pm on Friday, May 6.

Air Weapon Used in Cold-Blooded Attack

Countrywatch PC Stephen Rogerson revealed the lambs were likely targeted with an air weapon while left helpless in a field. “It appears the lambs were shot with an air weapon. They were only a day old and out in a field,” he said.

Police Appeal for Information

Officers are conducting patrols to reassure the local community and are urging anyone with information to come forward. PC Rogerson added: “We are keen to identify the person or people responsible for this cruel and heartless offence.”
