Police Launch Desperate Hunt for Mum After Newborn Baby Found Dead in Hampshire Park

Officers are scrambling to find the mother after the body of a newborn was discovered in a Hampshire park today. The tragic find was made at around 1.30pm in Manor Park, Church Hill, Aldershot, where the tiny body was found hidden among bushes.

Urgent Appeal to Mother: Police Want to Help

Detective Superintendent Darren Rawlings issued a heartfelt plea to the baby’s mother, urging her to come forward. “I am extremely concerned about the welfare of the mother of this baby,” he said. “I want to make sure she is getting the help and support she needs.”

“I know this must be a very distressing time for you, but it’s crucial you get the right care. Please contact us or go to a doctor or hospital.”

Rawlings emphasised the importance of the mother seeking medical attention immediately, assuring her: “Our priority is to ensure you receive the care and support you need.”

The police have also asked the public, especially healthcare workers, to come forward with any information that might help locate the mother or shed light on the situation.
