Manhunt Underway After Woman Murdered in Early Morning Tragedy

A manhunt has been launched following the murder of a 30-year-old woman in Suffolk Road, Andover. The victim, named as Lucy Dyson, was found dead at a property shortly after 5.30am today, June 23.

Police Launch Major Investigation

Officers rushed to the scene after being alerted this morning. Detective Chief Inspector John McGonigle confirmed that Lucy’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

“Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time,” said DCI McGonigle. “You will see a large police presence as we carry out extensive enquiries in the area.”

Community Reassured – But Stay Alert

Police are conducting house-to-house searches and following multiple lines of inquiry. There have been no arrests yet, but authorities say there is currently no ongoing threat to the wider community.

“We understand this is upsetting,” DCI McGonigle added. “If you have concerns, please approach our officers on patrol.”
