Teen Arrested After Police Nab Class A Drugs in Worksop

Officers from the Bassetlaw neighbourhood policing team were patrolling Worksop when they spotted suspicious behaviour. Their hunch paid off big time.

Suspect Caught with Drugs and Burner Phones

The police swooped and found the 17-year-old in possession of Class A drugs along with two burner phones. A swift search of the nearby area uncovered more wraps of suspected Class A drugs, all of which were seized by officers.

Community Safety First, Say Cops

PC Mark Holland, Nottinghamshire Police, said: “As a neighbourhood policing team, we carry out regular visible patrols across Bassetlaw to detect and deter crime.”

“By being out on the streets, we spotted suspicious behaviour that led to taking Class A drugs off the streets and arresting a suspect.”

“We don’t want any drug activity in our communities and will keep working to stop it.”
