Terrifying Attack in Bognor Regis: Woman Assaulted on Hook Lane
Police are hunting a man after a woman was sexually assaulted in broad daylight on Hook Lane, Bognor Regis, just after 10pm on Thursday, 1 August.
Local Man Approaches Victim Before Attack
The victim was walking down Shripney Road when she was approached by a man she recognised from the area. They chatted briefly before parting ways on Highfield Road. But trouble wasn’t far behind.
As she continued onto Hook Lane, the man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene.
Police Describe Suspect: ‘Late 20s, Polish Appearance’

- Skinny build
- Late 20s
- Short brown hair and stubble
- White long-sleeved top with logo
- Brown shorts
Forensics teams quickly attended the scene. Police believe this incident is isolated but urge anyone with information to come forward.
