Man Found Dead on Woking Road – Police Hunt Witnesses

Surrey Roads Policing officers are urgently seeking witnesses after a man’s body was discovered on Monument Road, Woking, in the early hours of October 8.

Tragic Discovery at 3am

Police were called to the scene at around 3am following a public report. Sergeant Eddie Ryan from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:

“We believe the man was struck by possibly more than one vehicle. We are working hard to piece together exactly what happened.”

Dashcams Could Hold Vital Clues

Monument Road remains closed between Six Crossroads Roundabout and Albert Drive as investigations continue. Officers are urging anyone who was on or near Monument Road last night, or who has dashcam footage, to come forward immediately.

“If you have dashcam footage or any information, no matter how small, please get in touch. This could be crucial to our investigation,” said Sergeant Ryan.

Next of Kin Yet to Be Identified

At this stage, the victim’s next of kin have not been identified or informed. Surrey Police are determined to uncover what happened and bring answers to the community.
