A wild two-hour police pursuit through South London ended in disaster last Thursday evening. A top-spec Land Rover Discovery, driven recklessly, smashed head-on into a Vauxhall Corsa on Thames Road, leaving the innocent driver with a broken arm.
Reckless Driver Hits Wrong Way on Dual Carriageway
The chase kicked off in Crayford and saw the Land Rover driver barrel the wrong way up a busy dual carriageway. The out-of-control vehicle ploughed straight into the Corsa, sparking an immediate emergency response.
Stolen Plates and Weapons Found
Police swooped on the Land Rover driver, arresting him at the scene. A search uncovered stolen number plates, a golf club, and a large knife tucked inside the driver’s door pocket. The man remains in custody facing multiple charges.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The Corsa driver was rushed to hospital with a broken arm. Police are continuing their investigation into the shocking incident. The Met Police have been contacted for comment.
