Police on the Hunt for Perry Barr Rape and Assault Suspect
Disturbing Incidents Shake Perry Barr
West Midlands Police have launched a manhunt after two terrifying attacks in the early hours of Saturday, January 18. Around 1:50am, officers rushed to Walsall Road near the One Stop Shopping Centre following reports that a woman had been raped.
Minutes later, a second woman was assaulted on nearby Aldridge Road. Police are probing whether the two attacks are linked but have not ruled anything out.
CCTV Captures Key Suspect
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify. He is described as slim, with short black hair, wearing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie at the time.
Police Plea: Spot Him? Speak Up!
Detective Superintendent Adam Jobson urged:
“If you recognise this person or saw him in the area between 1am and 2am, please get in touch. Any dashcam footage or details about suspicious behaviour could be crucial.”
