Police Hunt Man Over Newcastle City Centre Rape
Northumbria Police are urging the public to help identify a man linked to a shocking rape in central Newcastle. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, April 28.
Victim’s Terrifying Night Out
An 18-year-old woman met the suspect during a night out on Saturday, April 27. Between 1:00am and 1:30am the following morning, she was allegedly raped by the man while still in Newcastle city centre. Police launched an immediate investigation and have since made extensive enquiries.
CCTV Released – Can You Help?
Officers have released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to. They believe he was in the area at the time of the attack and may hold crucial information about what happened. Authorities are asking anyone who recognises him, or has information, to come forward urgently.
