Leicester Horror: Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted Near Cathedral

Police are urgently hunting two men after a brutal sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl in the grounds of Leicester Cathedral, St Martins. The attack happened in the early hours of Monday, July 29, between 3am and 3.20am.

Two Suspects Spotted Fleeing on Single Bike

The terrified victim was approached by two men who then violently assaulted her before fleeing the scene. Authorities say the suspects sped off on a single bicycle, which had a food delivery bag strapped to the back. CCTV footage from nearby shows the pair leaving the area, heading along Belvoir Street towards Granby Street.

Police Plea: Witnesses Needed

Officers have released images of two men seen near the cathedral at the time and are desperate for the public’s help identifying them. They urge anyone who witnessed the attack or has info on the men or the bike to come forward immediately.
