Eight Officers Injured in Epping Protest Mayhem

Detectives are hunting for two men after a peaceful protest in Epping spiralled into violence last week. The chaos left eight police officers injured and several police vehicles badly damaged.

Violent Disorder at Bell Hotel

The unrest erupted on Thursday 17 July outside the Bell Hotel. What started as a calm demonstration quickly turned nasty, with protesters throwing projectiles, clashing violently with police, and causing widespread criminal damage.

Police Seek Two Suspects

Officers are appealing for information on Martin Peagram and Philip Curson, whom they believe are involved in the disorder. So far, one man is in custody, but the investigation is ongoing.
