Drugs and Stolen Goods Haul as Police Raid Mansfield Home
Big Bust in Newgate Lane
Police stormed a terraced house in Newgate Lane, Mansfield on Thursday, uncovering a stash of Class A and B drugs. They also seized cash and suspected drug-dealing kit during the raid.
Man Arrested Over Drug Supply and Stolen Property
The Mansfield Central Neighbourhood policing team arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and handling stolen goods. Among the suspected stolen property found inside the house were high-value clothes, cosmetics, and even packets of meat.
Community Tip-Off Leads to Major Success
“This was an intelligence-led warrant made possible by our community,” said Sergeant Alice Bartle of Nottinghamshire Police. “Drug supply wrecks neighbourhoods with violence, antisocial behaviour and exploitation. We are working tirelessly to clean up the streets and bring offenders to justice.”
“Illegal drug sales fuel other crimes like shop theft, harming local businesses. If you spot anything suspicious, contact us — your tip could be the final piece we need.”
“While the investigation continues, we’re proud to have taken drugs off the streets, recovered stolen goods, and made an arrest.”
