Met Police Lock Down South East Park After Body Found

Officers from the Met Police major crime unit have sealed off a South East London park following a chilling discovery. A body was found this afternoon after a three-day search of a property on Elmington Street, Camberwell.

Forensic Tent Erected at Scene

A blue forensic tent now stands in the heart of the park as detectives comb the area for clues. The Met Police have yet to confirm details or comment on the investigation.

Link to Missing Nurse Still Unknown

It’s unclear if the grim find ties into the ongoing search for Petra Srncova, a 32-year-old senior nurse assistant who vanished last week. Petra, who works at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Westminster, was last spotted in Camberwell after taking two buses home.

The Met continues to investigate amid growing concern for Petra’s whereabouts.
