Teen Brutally Attacked Walking Home From School
Police hunt witness after 16-year-old boy is viciously assaulted in Blackburn.
Just after 3.30pm on Friday, November 13, the teenager was making his way home through Blackburn’s Infirmary area. That’s when a man in a black car with a blue roof pulled up and accused him of throwing a stone at the vehicle.
Chased and Attacked on the Streets
The suspect gave chase along Infirmary Street and onto Abraham Street, where the teen was grabbed and attacked. The assault left the boy with cuts and bruises to his face and ear — so serious his ear had to be glued at hospital.
Police Appeal for Key Witnesses
Officers want to speak to a man described as Asian, in his early 20s, wearing a brown jacket and brown tracksuit bottoms. PC Samuel Wright said: “The victim denies throwing anything at the car. He was chased and assaulted, resulting in serious injuries.”
Anyone who saw the attack or has dashcam footage around Infirmary and Abraham Streets on November 13 is urged to contact Lancashire Police immediately.
