Brighton Protests Rage Over Chris Kaba Shooting

Tensions boiled over outside John Street Police Station in Brighton on Saturday as dozens rallied against racism and police brutality. The demonstration followed the fatal shooting of Chris Kaba by Metropolitan Police officers on September 5.

Brighton’s protest was just one of many across the UK. Vigils and marches erupted in London, Oxford, Southampton, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Manchester, Taunton, Hassockfield, and Cardiff. All were part of a National Day of Action organised by the Justice for Chris Kaba campaign.
