Fatal Crash Shuts A30 at Hartley Wintney – Woman Dies at Scene
A deadly smash on the A30 at Hartley Wintney has sparked a police probe after a woman in her 60s was killed this afternoon. The busy road was shut both ways but has now reopened.
Crash Details and Casualties
The horror collision happened just after 2pm near the Grange Lane junction. It involved a black Audi A4 and a red Suzuki Alto. Tragically, the Suzuki driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed. Two passengers were injured in the crash, with one suffering serious, possibly life-changing injuries. The Audi’s driver also sustained serious injuries.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Officers want anyone who saw the crash or the moments before it to come forward. They’re keen to hear from anyone who spotted the Audi on the A30 between Blackwater and Hartley Wintney prior to the collision.
