Man in 50s Stabbed in Shocking Partington Attack
A brutal stabbing rocked Moss Lane, Partington just after 9pm on January 5, 2024. A man in his 50s suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
Two Suspects Flee Scene in Stolen Ford Focus
Police believe two men made off from the scene, stealing the victim’s Ford Focus and driving towards Central Road, Partington. No arrests have been made yet, with detectives working hard to piece together what happened.

Inspector Justin Bryant of GMP Trafford CID urged calm, saying: “This appears to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.”
He confirmed that more officers will patrol the area over the coming days to reassure residents and boost security.
