A man is fighting for his life after a vicious assault outside the Bittern Pub in Southampton.
Horrific Attack Leaves Victim with Serious Head Injuries
The terrifying incident happened around 9.50pm on Friday, April 18. The victim, 52, reportedly suffered life-threatening head injuries after being attacked and falling down a flight of stairs outside the pub on Thornhill Park Road.
No Arrests Yet as Police Lock Down Crime Scene
Forensic teams have sealed off the area all day, conducting thorough investigations. No arrests have been made so far as police continue their inquiry.
Hampshire Constabulary Issues Urgent Appeal
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “The 52-year-old man is currently in a life-threatening condition at Southampton General Hospital following the attack.”
Officers are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting Operation Bonham.
