A man has been rushed to hospital after a shocking broad daylight stabbing near Southend-on-Sea’s bustling Warrior Square.

London Air Ambulance Touches Down Amid Police Lockdown

Emergency services scrambled to the scene around 3pm on Thursday. The London air ambulance, complete with flying doctors, landed close to the town’s skatepark, which remains sealed off by police.

Crime Scene Officers Hunt for Clues

Essex Police have cordoned off the skatepark as scene of crime officers comb the area. A spokesperson confirmed:

“We were called to reports of an assault in the Warrior Square area of Southend shortly before 3pm on Thursday, May 14. Officers and paramedics attended and found a man with a stab wound to his back. The man has been taken to hospital and an investigation has been launched. No arrests have been made.”
