Radio 2 in the Park Hits Preston with Star-Studded Lineup!
BBC Radio 2, the UK’s biggest radio station boasting 13.23 million weekly listeners, is bringing its annual pop bonanza to Preston this September. The three-day festival at Moor Park, Lancashire, from September 6-8, promises top-tier performances from global pop icons plus DJ sets from beloved Radio 2 presenters.
Friday Pre-Party Kicks Off the Weekend
For the first time ever, Radio 2 in the Park launches with a sizzling Friday night Pre-Party on the DJ stage. Expect sets from Sara Cox, Vernon Kay, Scott Mills, Rylan, and DJ Spoony, turning the mood up ahead of two massive live show days.
Headliners and Full Lineup
- Saturday, Sept 7: Sting leads the charge with his new rock trio, featuring classics from his solo career and The Police. Also performing: Sugababes, Snow Patrol, Craig David, Kim Wilde, Pixie Lott, Shaznay Lewis, and Travis.
- Sunday, Sept 8: Pet Shop Boys headline with their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live show. Supporting acts include Manic Street Preachers, Sister Sledge feat. Kathy Sledge, Paul Heaton, Gabrielle, Shed Seven, Delta Goodrem, and Haircut 100.
Tickets on Sale Tomorrow
Tickets go live at 8:15am on Tuesday, June 4 via the BBC Radio 2 in the Park website. Saturday and Sunday passes start from £59 plus booking fees, while the Friday Pre-Party tickets are priced at £30 plus fees. The sprawling 170,000 sq ft site will host thousands for a weekend of epic tunes and unmissable moments.
