A 37-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly raped near Maidstone’s Lockmeadow leisure complex.

The incident reportedly happened on the evening of Monday, 2 September 2024. The victim was sexually assaulted by a stranger who then fled on foot towards the Millennium Bridge.
Kent Police Nab Suspect After Quick Probe
Kent Police launched an urgent investigation and arrested the suspect at 6:55 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 September. He remains in custody and is being questioned on suspicion of rape.
