“Gardaí and emergency services were alerted around 8 pm on Sunday, 24th December 2023, following a shooting on Main Street, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Two males were taken to hospital; one, in his 20s, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The second male, in his 40s, is seriously injured and receiving treatment. The crime scene has been preserved for technical examination, and the State Pathologist’s office has been notified.”
