A 17-year-old boy was hospitalised after a stabbing near Abbotts Park in Leyton. The victim suffered a knife wound to his leg and emergency services raced to the scene.

Officers cordoned off parts of Abbotts Park Road as forensic teams combed the area for clues. No arrests have been made yet. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called to Abbotts Park Road, E10, at 2:39 PM on Friday, February 28, following reports of a serious assault. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service, and a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital after sustaining a stab wound to his leg. A cordon remains in place, and enquiries are ongoing.”
