Crash Chaos on A404 Near Holmer Green
Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a serious crash on Friday afternoon (23/10) near Holmer Green.
At around 3:22pm, a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a white Volvo V40 collided on the A404 near Sheepcote Dell Lane.
Two Hospitalised After Collision
The white Volvo’s driver, a woman in her 40s, suffered serious injuries but is now stable in hospital. Meanwhile, the Vauxhall Corsa driver, a man in his 50s, is also hospitalised with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Pre-Crash Drama Involving Silver Ford Focus
Officers believe the Vauxhall Corsa was involved in an altercation with a Silver Ford Focus before the crash. It’s thought the Ford driver was trying to catch up with the Corsa.
So far, no arrests have been made, and all those involved are accounted for.
Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Owners to Come Forward
“We are investigating this incident in which two people have been injured,” said PC Richard Lunn from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit.
“If you witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage, please get in touch. We especially want to hear from anyone who saw the Vauxhall Corsa or Silver Ford Focus before 3:20pm in the Holmer Green area.”
