Young Man Shot Dead at Sheffield Car Wash
A murder probe is underway after a 21-year-old man was gunned down at Diamond Hand Car Wash on Burngreave Road, Sheffield.
Tragic Shooting at Diamond Hand Car Wash
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 6:45pm on Tuesday 29 March following reports of gunfire. Despite rushing the victim to hospital, medics were unable to save him.
The victim has been identified as Lamar Leroy Griffiths, a beloved Sheffield local.

Police Hunt Gunmen and Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Mick Hakin vowed relentless efforts to catch those responsible:
“We are working round the clock with a dedicated team to piece together what happened and find those behind Lamar’s death.”
“Lamar was sitting inside a blue BMW at the car wash when multiple shots were fired. The shooters fled in a white Ford Fiesta, which was found burnt out in Darnall.”
“A house search and arrest attempt took place in Kashmir Gardens, Darnall, as enquiries continue.”
