Brazen mobile phone heist at Farnborough O2 store – cops on the hunt!

Thieves struck just before 1.15pm on Saturday, 21 July, storming the O2 Store in Farnborough’s The Meads Shopping Centre. Two men brazenly ripped top-tier smartphones off display mounts while threatening staff – then fled with three pricey mobiles.

Valuable phones stolen in bold daylight theft

  • Gold Apple iPhone 7 Plus worth £721
  • Black Samsung Galaxy Note 8 worth £884

The duo made off with these expensive devices after targeting the store’s mobile phone display.

Police issue urgent appeal for info

Detective Constable Jonathan Duggan said: “We want to hear from anyone near the store during the incident or anyone offered these stolen phones for sale. We’re working hard to crack this case and urge anyone with info, no matter how small, to come forward.”
