£10k Jewellery Haul Stolen in Isle of Wight Break-In
Police have launched a probe after burglars raided a home on the Isle of Wight, making off with thousands of pounds’ worth of jewellery. The break-in happened sometime between 9.30am and 6pm on Thursday, September 15, at a property on Fishbourne Lane, Fishbourne.
Priceless Jewellery Boxes Stolen
Thieves targeted two jewellery boxes containing earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces, valued at around £10,000. One box is a small, chest-style case in dark metal with an ornate pattern. The other is a cream travel jewellery box featuring a leather-look finish and a press-stud fastener.
Among the missing items are distinctive yellow metal rings – one adorned with a repeated Maltese cross design, and another with an intricate Greek cut pattern on the band.
Police Appeal for Information
“This property is along a busy road so we are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in that area during the day,” said Detective Constable Lee Parker. “What you think is a trivial piece of information could be significant in our investigation.”
