Three Held After North London Shooting at Wood Green

Detectives swooped on three suspects after a shooting at Wood Green Shopping Centre’s car park on Pelham Road. The violent incident unfolded just before 8.40pm on Saturday, 27 January, sparking a major police response.

Young Man Shot, Quickly Treated

Officers, including armed units, rushed to the scene where they found a 19-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was swiftly taken to a central London hospital and has since been discharged, thankfully surviving the attack.

Trident Unit Leads the Hunt

The ruthless shooting has put Trident and Area Crime Command detectives on the case. Their investigations have led to the arrests of three men:

  • A 23-year-old arrested on Tuesday, 6 February
  • A 24-year-old arrested on Thursday, 8 February
  • A 21-year-old arrested on Friday, 9 February

All three were released under investigation as police continue probing this shocking attack.
