Police Nab Suspects After Early Morning Break-In

Three suspects were arrested after officers smashed a break-in at a detached garage on Crow Hill Rise, Mansfield. Police were called just after 4.15 a.m. following reports of suspicious activity.

Stolen Loot Includes Bicycle, Laptop, and Sunglasses

Thieves made off with items from a house, two garages, and several parked cars. Stolen goods included a bicycle, a laptop, and sunglasses.

Quick Work by Cops Leads to Arrests

Police launched immediate house-to-house inquiries and tracked down the suspects at a nearby flat. Two men, aged 53 and 25, face three counts of burglary. A 42-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property. All three remain in custody.

“This was a really good job by response officers who immediately attended the scene and began investigating what had happened,” said Detective Sergeant Georgina Gallagher of Nottinghamshire Police.

“Within a short period of time, they had secured the area, located an address of interest, and apprehended three suspects. Investigations are still ongoing as we work to recover all of the stolen items.”
