Teens Nabbed After Broadstairs ATM Vandalised in Dead of Night
Police arrested three youngsters after a cash machine outside a Broadstairs supermarket was trashed in the early hours of Friday, 18 May.
ATM Targeted Around 1am
At about 1am, Kent Police were called to Hopeville Avenue following reports of vandalism. The ATM’s screen was smashed, but no money was stolen.
Three Teen Suspects Caught
Shortly before 6am, officers arrested a 14-year-old boy and two girls aged 12 and 13 from Margate near Dane Park. They face charges of criminal damage.
Ongoing Investigation
All three remain in custody as enquiries continue. Kent Police urge anyone with information or who witnessed the attack to call 01843 222289 and quote reference 18-0041.
